Pure rim lighting on a black background: a single clay vessel photographed with one strong light placed BEHIND and slightly to the side of it, so the light grazes only the outer edge. The front-facing surface of the vessel must remain almost completely black with no fill light at all. A thin bright outline traces the silhouette from rim to base. No frontal illumination whatsoever.
