A phone photo taken at maximum digital zoom from the back of a crowded primary school sports day: a relay race on a dirt field, the running children far away and reduced to a smeary watercolour of mushy detail by heavy noise reduction and over-sharpening, their faces simple soft blurry shapes. The heads and raised arms of other parents in the foreground are huge and out of focus, cutting into the lower third of the frame. Colours flattened, bright halos along every edge, slight motion blur from a shaking hand. Genuinely bad everyday snapshot, not stylish.
