A life-size sculpture of a human figure curled tightly on its side, knees drawn to the chest, arms wrapped around the shins, face hidden. Simplified smooth sculptural forms with no anatomical detail. The figure lies horizontally on its side ON TOP of the plinth, its long axis parallel to the plinth, one hip and one shoulder resting on the plinth surface, seen from the side like a sleeping person; it is not sitting upright and not kneeling. Carved from a single huge AMETHYST GEODE: the outer surface is rough grey-brown volcanic rock, and the whole human silhouette stays clearly readable (head tucked down, bent knees, arms around the shins all visible as distinct shapes); only a long crack along the figure's back is split open, revealing a hollow interior lined with thousands of glittering violet amethyst crystals pointing inward, pale lilac at the rim and deep purple at the centre, a thin band of milky banded agate between the rock and the crystals. Plain concrete plinth in a bare gallery, even north light. Same pose, same camera angle at plinth height from the side. No text, no letters, no logos.
