A life-size sculpture of a human figure curled tightly on its side, knees drawn to the chest, arms wrapped around the shins, face hidden. Simplified smooth sculptural forms with no anatomical detail. The figure lies horizontally on its side ON TOP of the plinth, its long axis parallel to the plinth, one hip and one shoulder resting on the plinth surface, seen from the side like a sleeping person; it is not sitting upright and not kneeling. Made as Korean JOSEON WHITE PORCELAIN, baekja, glazed like a moon jar (Korean ceramic, NOT Japanese, NOT Chinese): a soft milky white glaze that is not pure white but faintly warm, pooling slightly bluish in the hollows, a gentle uneven seam where the parts were joined, a fine web of crackle in the glaze, a few small iron spots fired into it, a quiet sheen without hard gloss. Plain concrete plinth in a bare gallery, even north light. Same pose, same camera angle at plinth height from the side. No text, no letters, no logos.
