The Fog Noodle Maker: in the yard of a small country noodle house at dawn, a sturdy middle-aged Korean man in a white apron and cotton head towel stretches a soft lump of morning fog by hand into long fine strands, like hand-pulled noodles, and hangs them over bamboo drying racks in rows beside ordinary drying noodles. The fog strands are translucent white and drift apart slightly at the ends. Flour sacks, a wooden kneading board. Ordinary morning routine. Soft misty light. No text, no letters, no logos anywhere.
