[동네 이웃] 상추밭 달팽이

A snail in the lettuce: right after rain in a small Korean backyard vegetable patch, a garden snail with a striped brown shell glides across a wide frilled red-leaf lettuce leaf, eye stalks fully extended, a silvery slime trail behind it and a small bite missing from the leaf edge. Raindrops beaded on the leaves, perilla plants and a plastic watering can blurred behind. The snail fills about one sixth of the frame. Soft overcast light, macro, gentle and slightly comic. No text, no letters, no logos.
