Autumn foliage at its peak over a Korean mountain valley, seen from a high granite ridge: the whole valley and the slopes beyond blaze with scarlet maples, orange and golden yellow trees, deep crimson patches and a few dark green pines, layered ridges receding into the distance, a winding stream at the bottom, a tiny line of hikers in bright jackets on the trail, about one sixtieth of the frame height.
