[그 순간] 난로 위 도시락 탑

A winter classroom in 1990s Korea, shot on grainy colour negative film: a round cast-iron stove in the middle of the classroom with a tall stove pipe, and on top of it a tower of six or seven dented aluminium lunch boxes stacked crooked, the bottom one starting to smoke. A boy in a school uniform and knitted vest reaches in to move the bottom box to the top. Wooden desks, a kettle of water, students in winter uniforms in the background, a pale winter window. Warm and nostalgic. Ordinary everyday Korean faces. The blackboard is blank. No text, no letters, no logos.
