Slit-scan photo finish: a finish-line camera image that records only one thin vertical line at the finish line over time, so the background is not a scene at all but perfectly uniform horizontal stripes of color, while three wind-up toy race cars crossing the line appear as complete but slightly stretched and squashed shapes, each recorded as it passed. Bright primary colors, crisp edges, the time axis running from left to right. The cars are generic toys with no markings. No text, no letters, no numbers, no logos anywhere.
