A large soap bubble hanging from the end of a plastic straw, seen close against a dark background, about to burst: swirling rainbow bands slide across its skin and a black spot of ultra-thin film has opened near the top, wobbling and spreading. For the whole shot the bubble sags and quivers, the colours swirl faster around the black spot, the spot widens and shrinks back, but the bubble never pops. Nothing else moves. Soft window light, slightly faded 1990s film colour and grain, macro, static locked-off camera. No text
