A life-size sculpture of a human figure curled tightly on its side, knees drawn to the chest, arms wrapped around the shins, face hidden. Simplified smooth sculptural forms with no anatomical detail. The figure is fully clothed in a simple loose sculpted robe. Modelled in raw unfired CLAY that is still drying: dark wet grey-brown in the deep hollows between knees and chest, paler and lighter where it has already dried on the back and shoulder, fine shrinkage cracks spreading across the hip, visible thumb marks and wire-tool scrapes, a few small crumbs of clay fallen onto a sheet of plastic on the plinth. Plain concrete plinth in a bare gallery, even north light. Same pose, same camera angle at plinth height from the side. No text, no letters, no logos.
