A portrait of a person made without the person: the rooftop of a low Korean apartment building at night, used by an amateur astronomer. A telescope on a tripod under a fitted cover, a folding camping chair reclined far back, a thick blanket, a red-filtered flashlight, a thermos, a notebook open with hand-drawn sketches of circles and dots (no writing), a star wheel. Water tanks and antennas around, the city glow at the horizon, the bottom third of the frame is the rooftop and the top two thirds is a deep sky with many stars. No people, no text, no letters, no logos.
