Loneliness, rendered as a scene: a 24-hour self-service laundromat at three in the morning, seen through its front glass from the empty street. Rows of identical washing machines, all dark and still except one in the middle that is running, its round window glowing and a few clothes tumbling inside. A single plastic chair facing that machine, empty, a folded jacket left on it. Cold fluorescent light inside, wet dark street outside. No people. No text, no letters, no logos on machines, windows or signs.
