How a Korean primary school child in the 1980s imagined the 21st century: a crayon and watercolour drawing on a sheet of rough white drawing paper filling the whole image, the kind made for a school science imagination drawing contest. A glass-domed city under the sea with fish swimming past, a school bus flying to a smiling moon, a big friendly robot, a family living in a round house on a tall pole, rainbow-coloured roads. Waxy crayon strokes with watercolour wash resisted around them, wobbly perspective, naive proportions, small smudges and paper grain. No text, no letters, no hangul, no child's name, no signature.
